From a Western perspective, ethnofood is Thai and other Far Eastern foods.
They are characterized by special preparation methods, spices or ingredients that refer to a traditional, regional cooking culture.
An ethnofood offer should be as "original" as possible and not necessarily adapted to the habits of the "target group guests".
Take, for example, the dishes served in Thai restaurants in Western Europe: Rich ingredients are always part of the dishes, and Western Europeans are thus presented with an image of an authentic kitchen culture.
